The Annals of Gerontology and Geriatrics welcomes high-quality, original submissions that contribute to the advancement of research and clinical practice in aging, elderly care, and geriatric medicine. Authors must carefully follow the guidelines outlined below to ensure a smooth peer review and publication process.

1. Manuscript Categories

We accept the following types of submissions:

  • Original Research Articles – Comprehensive studies presenting novel findings in gerontology and geriatrics.
  • Review Articles – In-depth reviews summarizing the latest advancements in aging-related research.
  • Case Reports – Detailed descriptions of rare or unique clinical cases with significant learning value.

  • Short Communications – Concise reports on emerging findings or ongoing research.

2. Manuscript Preparation

  • All manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English. Authors may seek professional language editing services before submission if necessary.
  • The document should be formatted in double-spacing, using Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • A structured abstract (maximum 250 words) must accompany the manuscript, summarizing key findings and conclusions.
  • All figures, tables, and illustrations must be high-resolution and appropriately labeled.
  • Citations and references should adhere to the [journal's preferred citation style]. Ensure all references are accurate and complete.

3. Authorship and Ethical Considerations
